Oil consumption

I knew that my car would use some oil so topped it up today and it needed a full 1L.

How much will it use?

Does everyone experience this?

you dont say how many miles since last top up? or what grade of oil you are using? my chim used about 1 ltr every 1000 miles mobil one 0/40
tyre size for PAS 400 215OR225/50ZR15

215 on the front? I'm not sure I have that size on mine. I will have to have a look tomorrow. I have Goodyear Eagles which wouldn't be my first choice.

I can't say how many miles since last top up as only had the car a couple of weeks. I'm using Mobile 1 as this is what it's always had in it.

Do you know how much oil it takes to go from the bottom to the top mark on the dip stick? Cautious of over filling.

I make it 205/55ZR15 or 225/50ZR15 on the front, 225/45ZR16 if you go down the 16" all round route.

Good one? i think its 1ltr cant remember as for tyres nearly every tvr driver recommends bridgstones so2 if poss as they are fazing them out! good god is that the time? time for bed!!!!
