I'd be up for a meet and a run out. Have a Cooper S at the mo and will be replacing it with a convertible one sometime around the end of the month, at which time my Electric Blue 53 plate S with all the extras will be for sale, hint hint. Don't worry when the time comes I'll put it in the classifieds on here before anyone moans. Anyway back to the topic, a meet would be great, only done the London-2-Brighton in the MINI.

MINI2.com and SCNM.net both have meets to check out. S.C.N.M or south coast new mini will have a few near you. The South Downs weekender is always a great one if its running this year.

I had thought about the South downs run but at the mo I'm taking bits off the old car ready to put on the new when it arrives. The Griff is great, it's my 8th TVR and favourite shape. I had a Cerb for a while but couldn't get on with it, maybe it was the worry of something going wrong and costing a fortune. Decided to stick to the RV8 powered models, much more reliable and cheaper to run. I would like a Tuscan tho, but it would have to have a Corvette engine or similar.

Anyway back to Minis, I'm always up for a run, meet or whatever. Anyone with any performance engine bits for an S I'm interetsed, want to make this one a bit quicker. So far got a GTT induction kit, GRS enlarged intercooler, Denso Iridium plugs and new stainless manifold to go with the old M3-style exhaust, if it fits. Once I have the car and get these bits on, plus any others I acquire in the meantime, its off for a reduced pulley and remap. Any recommendations?, I'd like to use GTT but they're a bit far away. Anyone used West Tuning in Hampshire?

If you live in Sussex then I would recommend the Kent and East Sussex Mini Club.
