Can you run a 500 on ?

Can some one please enlighten me, a friend has asked if you can run a 500 engine on a 400 ECU ? This is due to him going to do an engine swap and the 500 has no ECU with it.

Can this be done, or can you do it if you fit a Mark Adams Chip ?

ColinL if all the (MarkH) 400 ECU needs is a new 500 chip (as I suspect but can't confirm) I know a man not too far away with a spare Mark Adams 500 chip.

Clue:- He was racing at Kirkiston on Saturday.
