2nd hand Lexus GS300 ~1999 - 2000

I'm looking for a Lexus GS 300 and wonder are there any things peculier to this car that I should be worried about.

Does it have any well known problems that I should be looking for or are Lexi/Lexuses as well made as they say?

I have just sold a GS300 and bought a GS430, the most reliable car I've every owned, make sure it has full Lexus history,these cars are luxury cruisers, don't expect road hugging grip, do expect to get to your destination without an aching back and not stressed,my two cars before I bought my Lexus were fairly new Mercs a 320 clk and the last one a AMG C32, I would never buy another after my GS430.the only fault I've found are the alloy wheels are crap and always need refurbishing, buy it you won't regret it
