Nissan 350Z Jap imports

I'm just wondering if any one can give me some sound advice on Nissan 350Z imports also known as a Fairlady. I am considering buying a blue 2003 350Z with leather and 20,000 on the clock (so they say) for £14.495 and I am just wondering whether this is a good decision. What concerns me is the fact there are loads flooding into the UK market at the moment, although most of them are grey or silver in colour and this is why I thought blue would be easier to sell in the future. Also do you know of any problems when it comes to servicing them and connecting them to a computer in the UK, I have been told that they are not compatible with the software and computers here.
Any help with this would be really appreciated. Thanks
