MR2 Mk1.5

Ive been reading up on the number of people doing "Mk1.5" conversion - basically, a Mk1 MR2 with a Mk2 engine (N/A or Turbo).

It sounds like quite and interesting drive, to say the least!

Only one question - has anyone heard of any companies out there that do the conversion, or is it a DIY frankenstein job?

These guys http://www.woodsport.org/ do the conversion, I think it's about £2500 for them to do it for you.

If I had the money I'd do it to my MK1 as well! It would be absolutely mental with a tuned 3sgte

Get yourself over to www.twobrutal.com for all the info. There is also the mk1.6 option where they have been installing a Camry V6 engine which shows some potential for tuning as there is a TRD supercharger for it...
