Any suggestins for alloys?
I did think about minilites as im not a fan of the slot mags or the standard wheels fitted, but before I take the plunge wondered if there were any alternatives that look good on a scim.

Paint-
I love Ducatit Gary's old met grey one & am still thinking of doing a replica of that, but I cant help thinking if anything else could look better?

Webasto roof-
Thinking of buying one from a BGT- can I make it fit properly

Front lip spoiler-
Anyone got one going spare? Cant find one for love nor money!

I have pretty much made my mind up with the direction of the rebuild, but just need to make sure I have not missed anything before commiting myself to the parts!
Thing I find with the scimitar is they can look really awkward if painted in the wrong colour & with a bad choice of wheels.
I appreciate its all subjective & peoples opinions, but thats what Im after- some ideas!

Please help!

Paint - period colours work better than contemporary ones, purple is of course best, by far.

Wheels - Minilites, Revolution 5-Spokes or maybe BBS crossspoke style as fitted to E30 3 Series and Samuri Datsun 240s? Anything over 15" looks weird and you're more or less limited to 7" at the front and 8" max at the back.

Chin spoiler - ask on the forum at scimitarweb or get a Dolomite Sprint one from Rimmer Bros.

I'm sure you could find all the bits for a Scimitar-spec Webasto if you asked around the forums - there's a fair bit of gubbins involved in stiffening the roof, but nothing too drastic.

I like April Yellow or Beajolais Red. I have never been convinced that mettalics look good on Scims.

Isn't Dave Poole's (Scimmie) car Beaujolais Red? Nice colour.

wheels:
minilites or nice refurbished wolfraces. maybe 4 spoke revo´s would be intersting, but cant remember ever seen one with such alloys fitted.

sunroof:
hope there isnt one fitted? sunroofs are ugly, unreliable, prone to leak and destroy the design of all (i mean all brands) of cars...even webastos!! i wouldnt buy a sunroof car! Yours has one: Sincere condolences!

color: use a typical flashy 70´s color...or go for a classic one like dark blue, british racing green or a classic metallic paint.
