I need to shift a car for a friend and just want to check it'll fit on my trailer before making plans. It's a Sylva Stylus which I'm led to believe is the same thing as a Fisher Fury. From what I've seen it looks pretty narrow and I'm concerned it may be too narrow to fit the boards on my large trailer. Would anyone happen to know how wide the distance is between the inside of the wheels?

Many thanks for your help, I've tried a lot of googling but had no luck.

I've got a Sylva Phoenix, which probably shares the same dimensions as the Fury and Stylus, and it's 45in between the inside of the rear tyres.

Adam you're a gent thanks for that, I was just concerned cause it looks a narrow little car - 112cm should be fine. If others could possibly confirm whether the Stylus and Pheonix have the same track width?

depends on if it runs standard or wide track wishbones i think but with it being enclosed body there are only small differences else the wheels will be stuck out of the arches.

Well the car's owner seems to think it'll fit after speaking to him today. I'm gonna take a couple of long scaffolding planks just incase, if the worst comes to the worst then we'll just have to pump the tyres right up and squeeze her on. Thanks for your help guys thumbup

I'd imagine the narrowest Sylva will be based on the rear axle of a Mk2 Escort, all the IRS cars since have either been the same or wider Im pretty sure, so if you can find out the track width of a Mk2 Escort you probably have your answer.

I have an RT stylus and it measures 47" to the inside of rear wheels and its 50mm wider than the Classic stylus which is the same as the Fury i think, which would make Adams measurement about right.

It was a tight fit as you can see but it squeezed on, thanks for all that helped.
