I'm new to VX220's (just got a VXT), but I believe his name was Imran, and that he was selling VXR No. 16.

To be sure, check it out on www.vx220.org.uk.

No that's not Imran's, his was number 16.

This is a genuine sale and belongs to a member on vx220.org (Gnits)

Are you sure? It even has the same mismatched tyres that Imrans had?

....and he still hasn't sold it (surprisingly enough) as I see it parked on his drive when I go past from time to time hehe

He had it on Autotrader for a while after he got owned, but I'm glad to hear he's still stuck with it.

Quite a few people ditch the standard vxr wheels as they're pretty heavy.

No not the wheels, the tyres, sticky track rubber on the front and cheapo "winter" tyres on the rear. Aren't the wheels the same as Imrans?

All the VXR's have Speedline Corse 16/17 combo. That car does have the same mismatched rubber as Imran's car, but isn't his.

Hmmm maybe its best if someone were to remove this thread then just in case the owner gets any grief for it.

There is definitely nothing dodgy about the car or the owner. I was in talks about it as I wanted a VXR, as I was using it as a daily driver I got a VXT instead.

He uses it as a daily driver and has put these tyres on for winter. He is going to swap back come summer. It does make sense really.
