'Ted,
I seem to be having fun with this. Sometimes the link gives me stuff, but not everything, other times it gives me nothing, even though I know there are new posts.
Started happening to day. Also have you added auto logout?

Sorry, I seem to have problems with cookies which is causing the auto-logout problem.

The what's new function appears to be working correctly although it's in danger of getting too confusing perhaps!

It now removes items from the list that you've just viewed so should truly reflect what's new to you (assuming you've got the cookie tracking turned on, have you?).

Cookies should be O.K!

It isn't a problem, just thought you might like to know.

cheers

Aha! I wondered why the list seemed to get smaller each time I went back to it. But it seems to be eliminating threads I haven't viewed yet, is this right?

I'm pretty sure it's working. If you think it's eliminating stuff you haven't read yet you can cross check it using the 'Last 24 hours' option which doesn't use the thread elimination thingy.

Looks OK if the last visited time is to be believed. Maybe I logged out and in again without realising, but I thought I had been happily wasting company time since about 11:00 this morning, but my last visit was apparently 11:31 today. Maybe I did log off when someone hassled me with some work!

I can't say for sure though, I'll let you know if it happens again.

Its a useful feature though, for those nosey gits like me who want to monitor everything going on here! I use the Whats New feature a lot, and its easier to se where I haven't been yet this way.

Cheers!

Phil
