Jaguar XJ Sport. Please Help
Discussion
Hello Everyone
I have a 1999 3.2 XJ Sport found out that the crankshaft was busted.
I have dismantled the engine fitted a second hand crank shaft, new head gaskets new timing chain tensioners, guides and blades etc etc.
The engine was rebuilt using the special jag tools to set the crank in the right position, the cams in the correct position so no marking was required.
It only seems to turn over for a few seconds very irratically and then dies.
OBD2 scanner shows P0336 error. Something to do with the crankshaft sensor. I replaced the sensor from 3 running cars but no joy.
Please any advice as to what may be wrong?
Thanks
