VXR8 Gearbox

Thanks to Slaters noisy old gearbox gone, new one in, and what a difference. Totally transformed the car. Wouldnt say it is the best gearbox in the world but it is now acceptable.I suspect though that mine is not an isolated case as I know of another noisy one that has not been drawn to the attention of said dealer. Credit where due as we hear of so many bad dealer experiences, took car in 10am phone call at 4pm to say car ready for collection, no probs.

I've had very good and very bad experience of said dealer so maybe they're sorting themselves out!!!!

Do the old boxes every become available to purchase cheap ?
