Corrosion

I posted earlier about problems with power sterring leakage and ordered some parts.

Decided to use a local garage rather than a specialist due to the noise the system made probably not the best idea.

Anyway turns out not only the back pipes need replacing but also the front ones in front of the radiator.

Thing is they are rusted to hell - surely this should be covered by the 6 year anti corrosion warrenty supplied by VX. If not I have to voice my disappointment with the quality of goods provided as OE.

I have to suggest that any owner with a car over 3 years old take a look at the power steering pipes.

Roger at Monkfish mentioned that the chasis rails could really do with waxoiling aswell. Will get mine done at the next service.

can't really do it this time of year as it's too damp & you'll seal moisture in. I'm getting mine Dinitroled next summer.
