Hi,

Not sure if anyone can help but a friend is staying over with me and has a DB7. He has wound down the passenger side window but it wont go back up! Has anyone suffered this problem at all or can shed any light? The motor is trying to work as you can hear it clicking but it wont wind back up?

If anyone can help before he has to drive back an hour in the rain tomorrow that would be great!

Thanks

Sorry not to be able to help, but I am curious to find out what the problem was. I have a DB7 and the passenger window drops the last inch with quite a thud - which I plan to investigate at some stage. Maybe I will suffer the same fault if I don't get it sorted soon?

HI,

I have this problem with my drivers side on my db7.
The window regulator and ECU need replacing (according my aston servicer), this will cost in the region of £300 + VAT. I haven't had mine fixed yet as i'm waiting to see if i can find a cheaper quote.
Anyone else know DB7's?

I did hear there is a ceramic disk in the window motor with a circuit printed on it, and this can crack.

Window ECU and motor/regulator need to be replaced at the same time according to the information I have. In the US, it will run you just under $1100 for the parts.
