New Camaro pics.

Some new Camaro interior pics taken while cars were on a truck going to Northern Europe for cold weather testing.

And apparently Bob Lutz has had it with spy photographers after these pics were taken, so has ordered all masking to be removed, and they have released this photo.

Do we think the vehicle at the back on the bottom of the truck in the above link is the new VE Wagon?
Some nice Holden metal on that transporter too

The exterior looks great and pays homage to the original Camaro
The interior ............... oh dear oh dear
Dials and switches all over the place, a steering wheel from a Klingon space ship, and seats that look like they're from a base model Ford Fiesta.
The Monaro interior has a very fluent design ..... this new Camaro interior just looks a mess to me.

I'm really starting to like this car as the only real replacement for my Monaro in 3+ years time, assuming it's going to be RHD. I've always been a fan of V8 muscle, especially in coupe form, and if they sort out the interior to be something other than a primary-school hack & slash design project, then I'm sold!
I've always been split over the American way of muscle cars - I very nearly bought an LS1 Pontiac Trans-Am before getting my Monaro, but ultimately the cheap plastics and shakey production quality put me off, despite the fantastic engine underneath.

Yes, I agree this looks stunning, having owned a Camaro from each previous series, I must admit this one is very nice.
I read somewhere an interview with Bob Lutz saying that the new Camaro will be the first Chevy to be built in the US as RHD and LHD, so I suppose that answers that question. Although I believe it will be built in Canada.
One of these might just tempt me out of the Ute!

AutoExpress is reporting the Camaro will be LHD only...

Not exactly the end of the world if it is, but it'll cost twice what the US will pay if so for the same car (surprised? um, no).
Worth importing then I guess!
