I think it is smoke grey

I have that car in an old magazine, if I can find it I will see if it says what it is.

It is in the Jan 2006 edition of Mini Magazine. Claims that it is Smoke Grey. It looks fantastic in the article.

I dont have a scanner here, but if my mates is still working I will try to get a copy of the article for you

hi mate i took your pic into paint program and chose a pigment of colour, i then dragged that pigment of colour over to a colour chart also opened in paint to get a match. Because of the different shades due to day light shine and shadows i chose the pigment from underneeth the number plate where it looks most natural, it may be named somthing else as car paint but it matched up to "duck egg" extreemly well infact i done a few squiggles and you could'nt tell. hope this can be a help to you..neale..

Tweed grey it is most certainly, smoke grey was not a Mini colour, was nearly all on Morris Minors, I had a Cooper 970 S in tweed grey with old english white roof.Hope this helps.

Cheers guys. Thanks dogfather but it wont be an accurate way of getting the colour that way as the print in the mag wont be 100% accurate which is printed in CMYK, then I took a photo of it in a tungsten lit office (phone is RGB) then it was posted on here and compressed, so its FAR FAR from the original pigment of the cars paint. Thanks for your efforts though, much appreciated.

Could put you in touch with the owner of this mini if you're interested (not sure but could be the same colour - looks more greenish in this pic than in the metal...):
