Vantage RS or N400

Anyone order one of these beauties? I believe all of the N400 have been ordered but the RS will be on sale next year!

I have an N400 on order in Lightning Silver. EVO has a write up on it in the new issue but I have not received my copy yet. I don't think one can really compare the RS with any other Vantage...its a totally different machine.

Yep, have the first RS coming to my dealer - IF it goes ahead - but agree it really can't be compared to other Vantages.

Won't be ordering an N400 as I believe it will not be long before this becomes the base model anyway at which point A) AM will stop loading a premium on it and B) a more powerful - not as extreme as RS - model will be announced which will prob. become the more saleable V8 version. A bit like 997S is to standard 997.

My dealer's started canvassing for deposits for the RS. He claims a limited run will be built for the world with just a handful going to each country. I did originally tell him I wanted to be on the list but he's talking about delivery mid to late 2009 and wants a deposit now to guarantee a car... not so sure I'm keen anymore, I'd be more interested in what Pugsey's talking about - something more powerful than the current car but not as hardcore as the RS.
