Morning all,

RE: SPORTS AND PRESTIGE OF FOURMARKS
S2000-4-U

I require a bit of advice.

A good friend of mine is looking to purchase a Honda S2000. In his quest to find his suitable car, he has come across a company called Sports and Prestige of Four Marks. The garage is located in Four Marks which is just south of Alton on the A31.

Has anyone had any dealings with this garage? I believe they are also called S2000-4-U aswell!?!

Many thanks in advance for your help!

Regards

I will be going there on Saturday to have a look at an S2000.
So far (from a conversation) they seem friendly and reasonably knowledgeable (for a used car dealer).

I'll let you know how I get on at the weekend.

If you could that'd be great, always good to see what someone else thinks!

I bought my S2000 from there about a year and a half ago. I found them very friendly and everything went smoothly. Just make sure you do your homework first. They have quite a quick turnaround in cars, so check the condition carefully.

Visit the Uk forum on www.s2ki.com and there is a thread about S2000-4u (Fourmarks) on there. You might have to scroll through a few pages though!

No personal dealings, but I used to drive past them on my way to work for quite some time. They've certainly been established a while and seem to have decent looking stock. Certainly no local horror stories about them.

My personal opinion is they are a waste of time! I was in the market for a S2000 (which I now have) and turned up in my Lotus Elise S2 had a look around, found a couple that I was interested in and enquired about test drives. I was told by the manager, "we don`t do test drives, our cars are that good people just buy them!" I said, "I beg your pardon?", "even if we did I wouldn`t do one today cos its wet out and all my cars are nice and clean!" he replied.

WTF!! Total Wa**er IMO!

I spent 6 years selling cars and rule No1 is `bums on seats sells cars!`

For the first time in years I was speechless, fortunately my other half was on the ball and she told him we`d take our £15000 else where then and walked out!

I have never been to a dealership with such strange ways of doing business. I could understand it if I was a spotty little oik who had turned up in a Saxo, but I`m a long way from that!!!
