I have got an 2.2 EX as my daily hack and it is very good.

Economy is very very dependant on how heavy your right foot is! In the elephant racing down the M6 or M1 (ie a steady-ish 60) I get 55 mpg, cruising at my usual speed of 0.8-0.9 leptons will see 47-50. Use the torque and the turbo round town and low 40s seems standard. The turbo is quite laggy but if you drive around that, then it is a very quick car - as some of the local PHers found out on a run last year wink

It is a bit noisy on the motorway and the interior feels cheap. There are a couple of known faults around creaky rear suspension/tailgates but get over to www.civinfo.com for all the latest situation.

Good luck!
