anyone know if you can get an lpg conversion on the flat 6?

Not on Subaru UK's list, but probably do-able after market...

You can get an after market kit,friend has one with 350+bhp runing LPG.

any ideas who? has he had any problems? trust thats with a turbo? thinking of either forester xt lpg or 3.0 n/a legacy.

really needs to be lpg as i do 25k a year and needs to be 4x4 capable - muddy worksites! fed up of walking on sites!

If you can hang on a bit, The Subaru diesel engine will be along soon. Ok, it's the fuel of Beelzebub, but at least you wont have to lug an LPG tank about. I reckon Diesel would suit a Subaru anyway... but I'd want an autobox...

Is a turbo,on an import Legacy aswell.
