Very excellent! Were there any items from the fix up that might benefit any of us? Mine is a 1995 XJS (AJ16).http://picasaweb.google.com/shine.greg/JagXJS53V12...

Purely cosmetic stuff apart from the full service - although if you are in need of a reasonably priced mechanic in the Republic of Ireland I would happily recommend the chap who did the work - Derek Dickenson (he's got shedloads of parts too).
A little too far for even a good mechanic; thanks though! No probs Greg - now that the weather may be picking up.
The leather will not look any different from before in photos though, as there was hardly any dirt in the seats anyway. All they needed was a good wipe with a damp soapy cloth and a good dollop of Liquid Leather. They're smelling lovely now.
I've replaced both the headlights and put 2 tyres on the back, and tried 3 different 2nd hand dim/dip modules in an effort to get the passenger side dim-dip function to work - aah the joys of old Jags!
Apart from that all I've done is give the whole car a good claying, polishing, sealing and waxing. The paintwork is really good - there's a hell of a lot if it though, I had 2 very sore arms that day!
I'll try to get some photos soon - and then figure out how to post them here.
