Just a quick reminder that Surrey TVRCC will be meeting at The Royal Oak, Pirbright this Sunday. Aim to arrive around noon for some of Pubman's fine home-cooked food. There will be an optional afternoon drive so get your sparcos on. The more the merrier.

Weather very favourable for TVRing, but not for kitchens!, did get a blast eventually. Not recalled oil and water at 98c before, but it was hot!,thanks for your custom, see you soon.

It was a great day for it.

The Royal Oak was as welcoming as ever, the gardens green and tranquil save for the rumble of V8's and speed six's...

I had a great run out after lunch first following Ian's Tuscan with it's banging overrun and then Steve T's 5L Chimera - what a sound! The trees reaching to touch each other over the empty twisting blacktop, the top down and the breeze cooling.

Thanks to Steve and Karen for organising it - what better way for spending a sunny Sunday afternoon is there?

Enjoyed being chaffeured to the meet for once. . . suppose it's time to look for the second TVR

Good one! Passed a lime green Miura on the way home . . .only momentarily jealous!
