Hi Guys,

Does anyone know the value of an original front wing for an MGA? Its never been used and is completely as new (stored indoors the whole time). Cost new was 19/6 in 1969 (so im told, a bit before my time!)

I have been given a value on it but it seems a little over optimistic so i thought if anyone here had ay ideas.

Cheers.

I'd love to have it as a spare in the loft in case I 'bangers and mash mine'

I reckon a good few hundred quid, I have got an idea new ones (which would be pattern I think) are listed at about 600 or 700 but I'm not usre if they are in stock, call Moss and Brown & Gammons and ask, then chuck it on ebay with a reserve.

If it's genuine new old stock and not just an 80's steelcraft panel that's been stored for 20 years quite a lot of money. Bit daft really as while original panels do fit better when the value starts to become a difference of hundreds then it isn't really worth it.

I wouldn't be surprised if it went to some overzealous restorer for 4 figures tbh.

Thanks chaps. Its definately new old stock, it actually belongs to my father, who bought it in 1969, so I know its genuine. It was kept in the loft for some bizaar reason for the whole time right until the present day....
