Poor FM reception Audi concert - A4 B6

Hi All, Got a new Audi recently. Went for a B6 shape to replace my ageing B5.

Nice car, but i have noticed that the FM reception is not working. cant tune into any FM station.
Any ideas before i remove the unit?

possibly aerial connection loose at back of headunit so it will have to come out anyway

I dont have a code for the stereo, is it likely that the power will be switched off when i pull the unit forward?

No it wont power off untill you unplug it on the back. Its not a cabriolet by any change isit?

No not a cab (I wish, those things are gorgeous).

I noticed in the menu on the stereo there is an antenna sensitivity selection. Its currently set to Dx.

Is this right?
