Lost me roof !!!

While on the way to work this mornin (2.30 am)
pushed it a bit on a desserted motorway and the bloody roof popped off and smashed to bits. hadn't locked the passenger side stut ( what a dummy! )
live 2mins from douglas valley breakers but they havent got one
anyone know where i can get one from or how much a new one costs?

I thought you had to take the car back to the factory get a new one moulded for the car...??

Well phoned the local dealer to price a new one up £950 for the hard top or £1350 for the lot because the coulor of the original will be slightly faded if a new top is fitted.
will have to go through the insurance me thinks!!!!!
Any tvr breakers besides douglas valley?

If you want a colour match then one from a Chimaera of a similar age is your best bet - ie. one being broken for spares.

Good point but there's always Renovo hood restorer to bring the remaining bit uup to standard.
