On my S2 2.9.
Double pulley on top.
Triple pulley on bottom.
One belt only.
Belt goes around alternator then on inside top pulley and middle bottom pulley.

Thanks John. I was slightly concerned as the bible seems to incdicate that I should expect two belts (a la Granada), so I wanted to be sure that someone hadn't just done a bodge before I went and bought a new single belt.

Believe it or not apart from the rain on the runback from GOTG in Wells, I haven't had the roof on for over 12 months and Iv'e taken the Tiv out nearly every week. This is not a commercial for "sunny" Devon as whilst you bask up there in the current heatwave we have been clouded over - must say though it is heating up now !!(and the "shower cap" keeps the leather seats cool when parked up.)Cheers
