I'm looking for some feedback about my latest post on my blog. I'm considering installing an opaque window tint (or other material) over the top of the windshield, similar to the Ferrari FXX, to both add a more aggresive look, and some relief from the sun.

Please let me know what you think.

I like the idea and will be interested to see how it turns out as I have been thinking of doing something similar on the GTW. A different rear grill also interests me as this is an area that I have yet to address and in my particular case is made even more challenging due to my exhaust system being inclined and the outlets being close together.

Does anyone speak Niuean? I'd like to ask him what material he used on the windshield and the side windows. I've heard that you cannot tint them because they are not glass.

I would think that a sheild such as the fxx has would look great but in blue instead of black. Lee

Looking at the Swedish car I think you will see that the side screens have been cut down and the doors refinished to meet the smaller windows. I cheated on mine and used vinyl and is adheres very well, but beware if you remove it it can pull the protective coating from the surface!

Didn't we have those in the 70's. ?
I seem to remember shed loads of Ford Cortina's with "Shaz & Dave" or similar emblazoned on the vinyl windscreen strip, a la' Halfords.

Just a thought.

I was considering putting "Ultima GTR" on the windshield strip, probably in white. I like the idea of blue, as long as I can get it to match the car color.

I saw my first Enzo last weekend. What a car. Sounded kinda funny and not super nasty but it sure looked like a mean machine. Very sparse interior compared to most F's.
