Wonder if these will stop wheelspin
Discussion
Don't wish to rain on your parade but there was a link 1wk ago linking to the US about tyre size and it was mentioned that the smaller wall height over OEM induces more wheel spin and upsets the handling? (Because they load up quicker or something like that).
It said for cars with big power it is better going for 315, 30 (I think) as the wall height is very close to the OEM.
I can't remember if he said that changing the geo to suit the bigger tyres was ok.
I'll see if I can find the Link.

The US site highlighed that the problem is available grip with soft track day tyres is generally better with the bigger size. I run 285's. The downside is that the transition to lack of grip becomes more accentuated.
In Adrians position I would do the same.

Sorry Didn't quite understand that. are you saying with sticky tyres bigger is better or with road tyres, as I thought the tests he done was with all kinds and for road he has settled on the Bridgestone RE050 replacement (can't remember the name)?
Are you saying Adrian should stick with bigger?

My experiences with upgraded/upsized shoes:

Running great with no balance loss and much improved traction. This is with only a bit over 420 to the rears (uncorrected raw numbers) not quite up to the monster number you have.
The front rub on lock turns is a bit annoying but I just pretend to have the early chassis "large" turning radius.
