One of my neighbours has just bought a P38 Vogue with electric memory seats. Unfortunately, the previous owner must have been a giant, as the passenger wing mirror keeps re-setting itself to a very high setting when she goes from R to D. I would have RTFM, but unfortunately, she hasn't got one, hence the post!!

Can anyone tell me how to pre-set the drivers memory seat on the P38? In my L322, it is a case of pressing M, followed by the desired memory button to set the seat memory. Is this the case on the P38, or is there some other trickery involved?

Cheers

Alex

The seat memory setting is as you've described (I think....) but the mirror dipping when reverse is selected can be switched off.
Switch the ignition on (but don't start engine)
Select reverse
Press and hold the 'memory store' button on the seat until you hear a beep and the dash will display a conformation message.
Ignition off - job done!

My mirror dip thing never worked proerly either. Setting seats is hold memory and the number together till it beeps and shows the set message on the dash.
