Well I only went and done it!
I am now the proud owner of an 03 4.4 Vogue (L322) in metallic dark blue and cream interior.....luuvvly.
One question though. Are there any suppliers of good second hand/recon parts. I'm looking specifically for running boards that are edged with aluminium, and have the front mud flaps "built in".
Also where do you insert the plastic SIM card holder for the built in phone (i've got the phone button on the dash, and it shows the SIM card in the holder in the brochure, but I don't know where to insert it - i'm assuming I have this option, I thought it was a standard fit in the Vogue?)
Any help would be grateful.
Cheers
Gary.

Lovely car - must be Buckingham Blue which is what I wanted for ours, but ended up with Cairns blue. Sensible engine too! biggrin

Phone cradle is in the upper part of the armrest - the chrome bar you press to open the armrest moves both ways to open the upper and lower compartments. Having said that I may be talking crap as ours is a 54-plate so has the later touchscreen nav with bluetooth! However, come what may, in that upper compartment there is the mounts for the cradle, so would assume the SIM slots in there somewhere...

I got my running boards complete with the mudflaps from MM4x4 - http://www.mm-4x4.com/ though could also have come from http://www.apbtrading.co.uk/

Other than that, there's quite a lot advertised on Ebay and the like, but I preferred to stick with more reputable sellers... May be worth picking up a copy of Land Rover Owner International or such like as it's packed full of adverts.

If you lift up the armrest of the center cubby box (between the front seats) buy latching the sliver catch forwards, you'll expose the phone handset:

Press the button to release the handset (the triangular logo) and the slot for the sim card holder is on the underneath of the handset cradle (the one in the poor quality picture below has been pulled out for illustration):

If you don't have the sim card holder, then your local dealer will be able to supply one (quite often free of charge - yes, I know!!!) on production of your VIN number.

The sim card holder is nothing more than a credit card sized sliver of plastic with a sim card sized hole in it.

Any idea's how much for the phone cradle fitting etc?
