Just took the heads of my Taimar to give it a top end overhaul, and found one of the pusrods is bent.
Anyone know where I can get a pushrod for a 3ltr Essex engine?

In no particular order:

Ford(they may still stock them), JW Engineering, Adrian Venn or STeVe Reid.

Tried Ford. No chance, the essex engine doesn't appear on their computers anymore. Spoke to JW Developments, very helpful, has a choice of new or used.

I spoke to JW on Monday, sent him a cheque on Tuesday & it arrived in the post on Weds. Also it was the cleanest s/h engine internal iv'e ever seen.He had never heard of me, yet sent it before receiving payment.
That's good marketing, as next time he will be my first call.
