Have just replaced the throttle pots on my 4.2 as it started to run lumpy and generally horrible, have set them up approximately using an ohm meter and achieved quite accepable results. However does anyone know where I can download the MBE software,as i'd like to set them correctly and reset the adaptive map.
Wouldn't we all.
I think several people have tried to modify the mapping, but if they've succeeded, they're not telling.
I'd personally love to do the Red Rose trick, and have a couple of maps to choose from, standard, Optimax, and one for that dodgy blue 105 Octane stuff members of the quickish Skyline fraternity seem to use on track...

I think 10399 is talking about something different here. Calibrating the throttle pots can be done with the dealer software. It has nothing to do with the fuel or timming mapping besides resetting the adaptive timing once done.
Why don't you email me and I'll point you in the right direction.
