Some early press reports now coming out of Australia for the 7 litre. We have one on order for the UK.

okay so is the one coming over for a customer or are you going to try sell it? Just iirc at todays exchange rates you're looking at 70-75k UKP for it and some on here are having a hard enough time selling their Monaros for 10k. You could struggle to find a nutter willing to spend that sort of money. No shortage of volunteers willing to swap engines with it but thats another matter altogether

Oh don't worry if they sell it in England it's bound to be cheaper than the Aussie price At the $150K or whatever it is here it's still almost $100K cheaper than an M5
video - sounds nice

The 427 story is more than an engine swap. Most of the chassis settings and many componenets are new and bigger, or improved, plus it has a dry sump and fully electronic bi-modal exhaust. As I will get to drive it some of the time, I guess I am one of the nutters.Phil.

What will parts availability be like?
(ie) Modified VXR8's that might need uprated parts?
I like your thinking. If we choose to import 427s at a reasonable price then we would not offer the specific componenets for other models. If we don't then we may offer some features like bigger brakes, dry sump kit etc. Bi Modal is already on my car and we are just sorting out production supply and final pricing. UK spec WP exhausts are improved quality stainless as it never rains and cars don't rust in Australia.(ie) Modified VXR8's that might need uprated parts?
