I need to replace the Vectra Estate, thought this might do the job.

Price seems very low, spoken to the guy, he is honest and it is genuine.

Honest opinions please.

Not sure how it replaces an estate but if you want a bonkers 4 door you coud do a lot worse.
Personally I'd buy a second hand Scooby or a 3L 3 seies diesel touring for that kind of money though.

There'd be nothing left after 2 races!! hehe

I'd follow Obes lead and get a Disco 3, Freelander 2 or a 5 series touring. (all to be fitted with a tow bar so you can do some of the trailering mate!!)

Looking for a good work/tow car myself and thinking of them. Will wait to have a ride in Obes Disco. smile

you would get a good evo for that money

I suggest you go for the older "focus RS" they are a more sporty car

Had Impreza x 3

Fancy an Evo, but the fuel tanks are too small.

It is just for work, nothing else, I do a lot of miles and wanted comfy and sporty.

If I had a choice it would be a Lambowink

So you don't really want an estate at all do you?
Just a toy to peddle around in to save the porsche some mileage.
Then the ST is great.

Not so, I absolutely refute your statement.

Sussed, yup.

Also been looking at some Megane R26 F1 jobbies if anyone wants to comment.

As quoted from R-Sport forum...

My megane is quite simply awesome and despite it having the build quality of a lego ambulance, I love it.

I've got one as my sensible car and I really like it. It gets a bit confused when driven aggressively on twisty roads, but as a practical refined way of getting about with plenty of straight line speed (all things relative to your Noble of course), it's a great value for money choice. A word of warning though, they do like a drink!

Apparently the ST likes a pint or two as well.

The ST is about 2.5k less than it should be, still steering towards that.

I've had my Golf GTi DSG 5 door for about 3 months now and absolutly love it! smile

Its a great auto when I'm working and just pootling about, but the DSG paddle box is fantastic fun when you want to boot it. And, now I've got eagle F1's on the handling is excellent too. Then there is the option of a chip and camber adjustment at the front end for even more fun smile

Gets my vote everytime. Mine has full leather, recaro seats, sat nav, bluetooth, climate, xenons, etc etc and cost me less than £15k with 35k miles on the clock on a 55 reg. BARGAIN!!

Would get the R26 over that any day mate! Those ASBOs looked good for about 2 mins when they first came out, they now look dated and contrived!

Anyway you race a Renault so it has to be the R26!
