After a few delays , finally got it , so Mrs H has now got sole ownership of the 400 , and I've got the SEAC

Question for Mr. shpub or Mr ACT .

The "bible" says 8.5J's and 245 x 45 . The car has 225 x 50's on the 8.5J's , . Know they should be changed , but concerned about ride height , is there a definitive height at the wheel arches ?

HI Neal. Welcome to SEAC ownership

I think you are getting confused over wheel diameters.

For a SEAC it is either 225/50 15 - 8.5J or an option of 245/45 16 - 9J. Therefore if you have got 225/50 15 tyres on 8.5 x 15 wheels that is correct.

I'm in danger of confusing everybody else as well as me !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doh!

I see yours is a 450 Gerald , mine is a 420 , which is where I got the figures from in the bible .It did seem strange to me that the 420 was bigger than the 450 .

Congrats on your SEAC
Now i will throw the spanner in the works , my car runs 245 x 16 x 45 all round, yes all round and from new.Original wheels, mine was the motor show car so guess this explains it.

225x50x15 which are on 8J's .
