Hi All,

Just had a quick question with regards to putting E39 M5 or 540 saloon springs on a 528i..

Would the front of the car sit higher due to the difference in front end weight? I guess more importantly spring rates maybe incorrect?
Initially I was thinking of going for Eibach front springs until the possibility of M5 and 540 springs came up.

Any thoughts / ideas?

Thanks for the response there.

Thanks for advice, I have decided to go with the Eibach's. As mine is a touring with the self level suspension, the Eibach kit comprises of just the fronts springs as I believe the rear suspension is stiffened and lowered electronically.

I may also look the anti roll bars. I doubt I will go for the Eibach
kit but may be able to obtain some 2nd hand 540 or M5 bars but these are from the saloon..

Has anyone tried the anti roll bar upgrade?

Thanks again

Cheers

Derek

Yes, I have had M5 front and rear roll bars fitted with polymer bushes and it has made a huge difference. I believe the improvement is even more noticeable on a touring.

Thanks for info Kerry,

I am thinking of going that same route but wanted to confirm whether saloon rear anti roll bars would also fit the touring?

I am hoping they will...

Thanks again

Derek..
