has anyone had any experience with a DMS remap on an e46 M3? Any good? is it really undetectable by BMW?

You might get 5 bhp if your lucky, even a custom map on a dyno rarely yields more than 10.

They will remap your current ECU, not put in a new 'chip'

If you value your engine personally i wouldnt bother. A more aggressive driving style, coupled with a higher rev limiter can mean oil lubrication issues and engine failure as a possible result. The engine is stressed enough at those kind of revolutions. For the sake of .5 seconds for a 0-100mph or whatever, not worth it IMO.

Some people note noticeable results though.
