Audi TT 3.2L upgrades !
Discussion
Hello Everyone
I have frequented the porsche forum for the last 2 years and am in the process of buying a TT 3.2L manual car and wondered what the best performance upgrades were that people have done to make these cars a little more peaky..
Have just come from a 225BHP audi TT and it was running 265BHP with a remap..
Thanks
Michael

A supercharger is the best bang for buck for circa 300 + bhp, if you don't minding running fairly edgy fuel mixtures then you can run pretty agressive maps to get high 200's but the cats wont like it due to the fuels involved.
Other options are high flow cats and SS exhaust, shrick cams etc.
try AmD they are now run by the guys behind big boys toys who have run in the VW cup for many years with both V6 bettles and there own R32. from my past experience they have a good knowledge of what works best together from the above options.

It is always harder to get more than 20 - 30 bhp more out of a naturally aspirated engine like the 3.2 V6.
Aftermarket exhausts like the Milltek, air intake kits and a remap will give you a bit more but you really need to go forced induction to get a lot. There are a few turbo kits about but supercharging is easier for right hand drive 3.2s.
My R32 has had a remap, Milltek, cold air intake for noise and easier breathing. A front brake upgrade and Haldex PP controller helped handling.
Do get in touch with APS at Brackley, Awesome in Manchester or BBT/AMD in Essex - they will tell you much more.
