Just wondered if this is the most travelled Mid Essex Scruffy bear?

OK, I'm not that sad as to take him on holiday with me. He is actually a gift for my aunt out here in Oregon but I thought it would be fun to set a challenge for the most travelled Scruffy and so, much to the amusement of the other tourists, have taken snaps of him on my travels in Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana and Washington States. This serves no purpose but to a) make you all jealous of the wonderful time I am having in great weather, and b) a complete waste of the world wide web.

He is pictured here with the covered bridge and on the Harleys in Oregon, at the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone parks in Wyoming and at Mount Rainier volcano in Washington state.

Apart from missing the Griff, can't say I'm looking forward to coming home

I may make it to the Suffolk meet but Jet lag may have the better of me. I'll be easy to spot, I'll most probably be driving on the wrong side of the road

Thanks guys, especially your endorsement Alan, as I seem to remember you were a little anti bear to start with?
Going to the coast today so he may go for a paddle in the Pacific, that's if I don't drown him in it first. He tends not to sit nicely when I ask him to, keeps falling off things, little sod

Excellent pictures - wish I had taken mine to Switzerland with me now - could possibly had the highest bear on land - 11,333 ft above sea level at the Jungfrau Station.

PS - Any joy with the Goober Grape?

The bit that impresses me is how you got the bike shot: 'Excuse me'(to group of murderous-looking leather-clad bikers) 'would you mind awfully getting off your bikes so I can take a picture of my teddy?'

They were leather clad but I told them if they wouldn't let me photograph my Teddy, I'd beat the cr@p out of them...... they knew when to back down.

Had a look again today but no luck. Will try tomorrow but it will be my last chance before coming home.

Here's a few more shots of Scruffy. The first one is in central Oregon with two of the three 'Sisters' mountains. The second is at Yellowstone's Canyon and the last two are at the coast at Yaquina head lighthouse and looking back to Newport shot yesterday. Pleased to report he was an today and didn't fall over once.

Oi! Bear! It's easier to open the bonnet before trying to top up the oil.

Don't you be rude about our Ted, John. He's seen us through many car shows and race meetings this year and trust you to take his pic at Langdon Hills just when he had had a few too many orange juices? or perhaps it was Simons birthday cake that was his undoing?
By the way loved the pics from Bacardi. Our Ted is called Thrifty (as in T350!)
