Audi needs new cambelt, where to take it in Bedfordshire ?

Hi,

My son's old (R reg) A4 TDi needs a new cambelt and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to where we could get it done in the Bedford area, (where it wouldn't be too expensive). On the particular model he has I'm told it's a front bumper off job, so more expensive than if it were a newer model - audi are quoting just under £500.

We live near Bedford, but I work in Leighton Buzzard and Milton Keynes isn't too far either - so any recommendations for garages in or around those three towns would be great - thanks.

VagTech in soulbury (couple of miles form Leighton). Very good service, price etc. Take my '03 aud there and never had any probs!!

It takes about 20 minutes to take the front off of one of those, if you really know what youre doing i reckon about 15 minutes. So the expense is not in doing that.
