Whilst at local TVR dealer for service my chimaera was rammed on the carpark by another customer. Obviously the dealer will put the damage right (bumper and right rear wing!) and has offered 10% off the parts and labour of the work i was having done as compensation. Does everyone think this offer is adequate? comments appreciated.

Sounds good to me. More than they needed to do.

On the other hand, if you're not happy with the deal you can alienate the dealer by telling him to shove it and try to get some money of the other chaps insurance.

PS: If I was the dealer I'd be trying to stop the other chap from getting any hassle too (by offering a settlement) because he is also a customer.

I would say they are offering very little. What do you do for a car whilst it is off the road being repaired? If your car was immaculate and never repaired it now won't be, you have lost that and cannot claim it when it comes to resale. I have been on both sides of the fence in this type of situation, the garage are not doing too badly out of this situation.
