Just a quick 'heads up'
I picked up a set of HSV AP brakes from E bay (I know cheapskate) unfortunately although they looked good, when fitted the fronts were warped.
I googled brake skimming and discovered they can be machined on the car (which has the benefit that they are trued to the hub). Turned out that Steve Bull Specialist cars in Devizes had the kit (apparantly all Porsche main dealers use them).
Short of it was, he skimmed both front discs for £100 and the problem is solved.

£100 a pair is way to much to pay, I used to take my disc's to a machine shop that skimmed engine cylinder heads etc and they used to carge me £20 a disc.
Maybe its worth phoning a few places and get a few prices.

some problematic setups can only be solved by skimming on the car. You wont get anyone, anywhere doing that for £20.

That's exactly the point, if it's done on the car it effectively takes any runout in the bells and hubs into account.
