Does anybody out there know the current supplier to TVR for wiper arms? I have a 98R and am cosidering renewing as the existing look pretty shabby and let the car down.
Also, i have been looking at the lip on the 'leaf screen' on my model and it doesn't appear to hide the wipers very well, and i feel it makes the car look a bit dated. Has this been improved on later models?

I would think Halfords have a good selection, and guess they are of a 'standard' type.., probably off another car. Try calling in and see what they have got.

Halfords do them, they just don't list them. Bog Standard 16" Bosch blade goes straight on.

I think he's actually talking about the metal arms, rather than the blades them selves.....

There are about 600 different wiper arms that have been used in the auto trade over the years. If the experiences of previous TVR owners are anything to go buy, the TVR arms are very very unique and unlikley to be in stock.

I was surprised at how cheap the arms were last time I bought them from TVR so why not get them mail order from a dealer or online www.tvrgear.co.uk

The last 2 TVR's i have had i have changed the left side wipper arm for a right hand side one which then means that the pasenger can see clearly out of the screen. I took the arm into Hallfords and someone went through the boxes with me and we found one easly, it is a very worth will job.(so the passengers tell me)It also look better.

I keep meaning to do the same, as my wife says she cant see properly due to the left wiper.

Dear Kojak why not do it now while the car spends the winter in the garage and give your wife a treat ready for the summer.

Felt guilty, so went back down today to Halfords on Queens Road, and they said they dont sell wiper arms!! Unusual. Anyway, managed to 'bend' it to a bettter position. Didn't want to do it too much in case it snapped. Looks OK. Suppose it saved me money.., except Sue spent it on some soft furnishings for the bedroom instead.

Where did you get yours arm from?

Speak to you later.
