How Long for a PDI / Handover

Evening All,

My new company car (335d SE Touring) has left the Fatherland and is in Zeebrugge awaiting entry to the UK.

I understand that it will need a PDI before I can get my hands on it. Any chance I might get it before Christmas?

Wife is giving birth to our 1st child on Tuesday next week and it would be nice to have it to bring Jnr home in.

If I am honest I would be surprised if you saw your new car for Christmas, especially if it is still on mainland Europe. Dealers can turn round cars pretty quickly (I know I have in the past) but if a lease company is involved perhaps this will slow things down aswell.

If it isn't even in the country i'd say you have approximately zero chance of getting it before every dealer shuts at lunchtime next Wed...
