hiya all,
cant find the fuse for the heater blower,
searched under the glove box and the boot.
everything is lighting up and funtioning but no fan,,
the washer joints on the bonnet popped out with the cold
water everywere,
could that have anythink to do with it.
get a bit of heat when car in motion,
all the best,
billy

I rather suspect that its the heater blower motor itself that has failed and not the fuse. It certainly was when mine went in the Summer - and yes, I got a small amount of airflow when the car was moving as well.

£330 to replace at BMW.

I would second that - had to replace it on my 530d and recently also on my M5, as the E39 is notorious for this failing. Good thing is that it is easy DIY and fairly cheap + the replacement part is now an upgraded and more reliable one.

This is not a typical Hedgehog failure mode.
