E46 / Z4 - iPhone and Bluetooth

Although my iPhone has always worked for incoming calls, the phonebook never transferred over making it a "use phone to dial" which wasn't ideal.

So, bizarre that suddenly all my contacts have appeared in the phonebook, allowing me to browse (each contact has mobile, home etc too if programmed). The only thing that's changed is my iPhone is running the latest firmware, so if you haven't upgraded give it a go and see if it works for you.

This is on an 06 Z4M so maybe other versions of the Bluetooth module will be different!

It is the iPhone software update which has made the difference - there was a thread recently about this very topic.
