Hot central tunnel on E92: normal?

While driving very normaly on speedway for two hours, I noticed a hot spot at the level of my knee on the central tunnel! Car was running normally but I do not feel this as 100% normal. The hottest spot is the lower plastic part under the buttons for heating seats and park distance control. What do you think? Gearbox? Transmission? External temp is almost freezing. Thanks for any input

I think there's a duct running under the centre console to heat/cool the drinks holder. Might be that.
