Having finally got the Chimaera back on the road after prolonged head gasket problems, a mate and I thought it would be a good idea to go to Le Mans next year.

Not having done so before I have had a quick poke around t'internet and on PH and it looks like we could be struggling to get tickets / camping at this late(!) stage without going to lots of trouble / paying over the odds.

Are we stuffed, or can I still get tickets? What about the TVRCC? Might finally present a good reason to join

er, booked around april 2002, january last year...

that's too late if you want ACO camping but i think we'll stick to ClubMotorsport after seeing - and indeed smelling - bleu last year!!!

they were wallowing in their own filth why we were having meals served to us with hot showers and proper shitters!!! all in a secure site with no pikeys... just a stoned dutchman

I saw the ClubMotorsport site - what about getting to/from the circuit when inebriated?

You'll still get tickets OK but will have to buy from an agent. The agents offering their tickets the cheapest will obviously sell out the quickest.

You will even be able to get tickets the week before the event if you're lucky. In the PH LM forums spare/unwanted tickets sell quicker than hot cakes in a Bently LMP900!

You definitly aren't too late to go so come along and add to the Brit support (of beer bottle mountains!)

They always say that!

You can buy entrance tickets on the doors (what do the locals do..? they don't buy in advance!!)

Ferry tickets can be booked last minute

Camping can be in the car park etc - or (as its a 24hr race, who needs sleep anyhow! )

Don't worry, its a scaremonger to get you to part with moolar!

I've found that tickets for the race are easily available, it's camping that sells out quickly...we buy our tickets early so that we have an excuse to go and pick them up at pre-qualifying in May....
