Always used main dealers to look after my Tvr's in the past but after the years of crap service and overcharging , and the age of my car it would seem to make more sense to use an independent.

I have heard good things regarding thames Valley Racetech, and Topcats, but as I am in Stevenage did wonder if Offord were any good, or could someone recommend anybody else that's local?

though a Chim not a cerb ,I had my very first ( for me anyway )service with Offords. They were very friendly and the mechys put up with my incessant questions for 6 hours and were very helpful, giving me lots of tips on what to keep my eye on in the future. Full 12K service + new Rad and new starter was about £850. I'd go there again...

I have not used them ( TopCats Racing for me ) but I
understand Offords to be very helpful and reasonable.

I bought my car from there, and they were fine. If you have a look at some of the past threads, they get a thumbs-up from guys that use them.

I work in Stevenage and make the effort to use Offords (for my Saab) as their level of customer service is the best I've had from a garage. They have a large fleet of courtesy cars so it should be no problem to get back down the A1.

Mark

Got your email and no doubt we will bump into or hear one another in Stevenage.

Yes, I was going to use Offord's due to numerous plus comments from people on this site. Hopefully will not be until next April 2004 when service is due.

Regards

Gary

I have been using Offords for my Cerbera for the last year or so and so far my experience has been positive. Have also been having my wife's Saab serviced there and again no problems. The guys there are always helpful and do a good job at a reasonable price.

My Cerbera is at Offords at the moment, Went in for a full service with Tappets £650, unfortunately It needed new front shockers, ignition coil (which I'm waiting to come down from Blackpool) and a couple of other little bits need sorting, Always had my Chimaera serviced there. As snorky said very friendly and ready to answer any q's (no matter how stupid).

I will always use them in future.

Missing my Cerbie though only had it a week or two
