What would realistically expect a dealer to offer on a May 2002 Tamora with the following spec :-

18in Alloys, Colour coded diffuser, Close Ratio Gearbox, Full Leather, Air Con, Electric Lumbar Support & Uprated Speakers

This is a straight sale ie not purchasing new car.

I have had an verbal offer subject to seeing the car which was about what I expected but wanted to get others thoughts or experiences.

Straight sale to a dealer - only around £25K I'm afraid.

Packet of crisps and half a coke!

Things which will help you are the air-con and possibly the close ratio box but I reckon you'll be lucky to get more than 25K for it. I tried to get rid of a 8 month old Tamora with 5K on the clock and got offered 3oK as a part ex. My local dealer offered me 26K for it! Used Tamora prices are not good as the demand is for the T350 and Tuscan S.

Thanks guys.

Got £24.5k in the end which I have taken as the prices seem to be on a downward spiral at the moment. Its a huge hit but unless I priced well below £30k unlikely to sell privately Tamora's are not popular and seem to sit on forecourts for a while unless priced aggressively,

Thing to take into consideration also is the weather.....who ever takes it in is buying it knowing it could sit on their forecourt until the weather picks up next spring.

Why is demand lower for Tamora's? Everyone who has one thinks they are superb

The only thing i can think of IMHO is looks i had the pleasure of a Tamora for a day when choosing between it and a Tuscan it probabily handled/rode/performed better than the Tuscan but unfortunatly was only noticed by "true" petrol heads were as the Tuscan was gawped at by all and sundrie When the Tam is available with a head light conversion(my son posted for info on the subject but no one seemed to know ) i will probably change, underneath the skin is possible the best open air car on the market. Frostie fancy a straight swop Tony

Methinks not, that would be retail.

During winter most dealers dont want more cars, think frostie did well with 24.5K!

Might have got a touch more selling privately in Spring mind.

Would have got a tad more selling now I'd imagine.
If he'd posted 'a come and get it before the weekend for 25k' in the classifieds i'm sure a PH'er would have picked it up.
I know the hassle is probably not worth the 500 quid extra but it'd have gone to a good home!
